Hyderabad: Hyderabad player Aminen Shivan advanced to the finals of both the singles and doubles competi tions at the All India Tennis Association's Super Series U-14 tennis tournament at Panchgani in Maharashtra on Thursday.
In the singles semifinals, Shivani ran into yet another of her city mates, Sheik Humera, whom she defeated 6-3, 6-3.
Shivani had beaten Sivanuja Peddada in straight sets in the quarterfinals.
In doubles, Shivani and her partner, Rachana Reddy, defeated the pair of Sheik Tahura and Aishwarya 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the summit clash.
