Kamana Jethmalani has been looking for a good break in Tollywood for a while now. She recently danced in an item number for the Nagarjuna-starrer Bhai, but the film didn’t do well at the box office. The actress had earlier played one of the female leads in the 3D film 'Action', which also didn’t fare well.
It’s no wonder then that Kamana is now banking on her next film 'Veediki Dookudekkuva', starring Srikanth in the lead role. Although she kicked off her career on a good note, she couldn’t follow up the success with her later films. In fact, Kamana’s last film as the main female lead was the 2010 Naresh-starrer Kathi Kanta Rao. Her recent work includes only small films, so she has all her hopes pinned on Veediki Dookudekkuva, which is due for a 2014 release. The film is being directed by Satyanarayana Dwarapudi.
