A major fire broke out in a timber factory in Musheerabad area in Hyderabad, on Monday. The fire completely destroyed the timber depot and sent panic among people in the surrounding neighbourhood in Musheerabad.
Police suspect an electrical fault in the factory led to the fire.
A few other buildings were also vacated as a precautionary measure.
Locals saw smoke emanating from the depot around 3.30 a.m before alerting the fire department.
Residents of nearby flats had already vacated following the warning by police and fire officials.
The huge flames spread to a residential apartment abutting the depot.

Fire-fighters had a tough time putting off the fire in the congested area. No casualties were reported in the accident.
Eight fire engines had been rushed to the site. A resident complained that the force came only by 4.30 AM.
