Now a little while ago, Ranbir Kapoor had verbally agreed to work in Umesh Shukla’s upcoming film. However, Ranbir finally decided to focus on clearing his backlog of projects before taking on any new films. As per the available dates of all parties, Umesh’s film wouldn’t have been able to take off before 2015. “Umesh felt there was no point waiting indefinitely and decided to rope in Ranveer instead of Ranbir,” a source in the know said.
