Gujarat CM engages a special core team to get 'correct feedback from the ground'.
New Delhi: Away from the high-decibel poll debates, closed-door strategy sessions and pundits’ predictions for the coming general election, around 800 people — engaged by BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi — are criss-crossing the country to get acquainted with ground-level realities and giving feedback to Gandhinagar.
The Gujarat CM is known to get his own poll assessments done and has engaged a special core team to get 'correct feedback from the ground'. This is quite separate from assessments done by the BJP and the RSS.
This “Modi army” is taking feedback independently, not using the party machinery.
While the BJP leadership is confident of coming to power under Modi’s leadership, issues like its performance in the South and Northeast, probable allies and the AAP’s impact are worrying the leadership that hopes to get 272 or more Parliamentary seats.
