Mohit builds a villain’s den
Mohit Suri who is working on his next directorial venture, 'The Villain' (working title), starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, has redesigned his office and put up portraits and posters of the world’s most popular screen villains. He even added in some unique elements as part of the decor that bear a connection to the villains — like scepters, cigars and pipes etc. He has rechristened his office, calling it “The Villains’ Den”.
During the pre-production stage, all his script, music and acting sessions, happened at the Villain’s Den. And now, as the shoot is underway, Mohit has recreated a similar environment in one of the production vanity vans where all the briefings and scene discussions happen.
Speaking about the same, Mohit says, “It’s so boring to have a vanilla office. We have such a fun and commercial title for our film, so I thought of giving the office a theme that was in line with the title. We refer to our office as the Villains’ Den. We don’t use the word ‘office’. It is adorned by visuals of legendary villains. It started off with inspirational images, turned into a collage, then wall art and finally a theme office.”
