Don’t sit comfortably, get up and stay healthy

Sitting comfortable for very long time may turn into a cause of concern. Glued to your chair for long hours – be it at work or on your couch at home – is worrisome as it has an impact on health and obviously a growing body.

Last month, it emerged that spending an extra hour sitting a day is linked to 50 per cent greater risk of being disabled, according to the US study published in the Journal of Physical Activity and health.

Previous research has suggested spending too much time on our rear may be a new risk factor for illness and even death.

The solution: try to spend a lot less time on your bottoms.
