The audio launch of Vaayai Moodi Pesavum in which mega star Mammootty’s son, Dulquer Salman, is debuting in Tamil, held at multiplex in the city, was a gala affair. Director Balaji Mohan returns after his youthful romantic blockbuster, Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, and the lead lady of VMP, Nazriya, was spotted at the event.
Ace director Mani Ratnam unveiled the audio and Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council President Keyaar launched the trailer. Mani congratulated the team and advised them to work with the same passion and enthusiasm as their debut movie.
Varun Manian and his Radiance Media is producing the movie along with Y Not Studios’ Sashi. Debutant music composer Sean Roldan’s songs came in for praise for their peppy and youthful nature. Dulquer recalled his Chennai connection and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and support from the people present. Selvaraghavan, Vasantha Balan, T. Siva, S.R. Prabhu, C.V. Kumar, Vikram Prabhu, Rana Daggubati, Madhu and singer Vijay Yesudas, were among those present on the occasion.
