Dabur expands packaged food business
New Delhi: FMCG firm Dabur today announced the expansion of its packaged food business with the launch of coconut water under its Real Activ brand.
"With the launch of Real Activ Coconut Water, we are further expanding our fruit-based beverages category to give our consumers more choice to make their modern hectic lifestyle healthier," Dabur India Category Head-Foods Praveen Jaipuriar said in a statement. Dabur will soon be executing a 360-degree marketing campaign to promote the product, the company said.
South Eastern Railway has achieved beyond the target fixed by the Railway Board for the year 2013-14 in freight and coaching operations. The total freight loading achieved in the year 2013-14 has been 134.07 million tonnes which is almost 10 million tonnes more than what was achieved last year at 124.61 million tonnes, SER sources said here today. SER has surpassed not only the initial target of 130 million tonnes set by the Railway Board but also surpassed the revised target of 134 million tonnes, the sources said.
The international airport here has clocked a record 63 per cent growth in cargo handling during 2013-14 to top non-metro air cargo terminals in the country in terms of volume. The terminal handled 4,773 tons of cargo during 2013-14 as against 2,920 tons in the previous year, an official release said. The terminal handled commodities like assorted vegetables, fruits, flowers, garments and medicines exported to Singapore, Kuwait, Hongkong, Sydney and Melbourne while the import cargo consisted of household goods, electronic items and chemicals among others, Officiating Airport Director K Jebaraj said.
