Dash: A shopping list scanner launched by Amazon

April 6, 2014: Amazon.com, Inc. has launched its scanner known as ‘Dash’, which will enable individuals to scan their shopping items.On its connectivity front, Dash also connects to your home Wi-Fi network and works directly with your AmazonFresh account.

This device is 6 inches long and about 1.125 inches wide. Amazon.com stated ‘Dash has a sturdy for everyday household use and can be kept on the counter or hang it on the refrigerator.’

Reports also stated, ‘This device is ‘voice- enabled’. If you don’t have the respective item’s barcode, then you can just say it into Dash and then review your list on your computer.’

After the recent launch Fire TV, the availability of this device might also boost up the business of Amazon. com
