Mumbai: Last night, at the wrap party of ‘Bombay Velvet’, team Phantom celebrated the announcement of the new release date of their film, which is November 28, 2014. Kicking off the marketing strategy in a unique way, Anurag, Karan, Ranbir and the entire team were spotted wearing a t-shirts with its release date mentioned on it. Anurag Kashyap, who religiously hit the gym with Ranbir Kapoor in Sri Lanka, looked visibly leaner.
The real fun started after the cake was cut. The entire Phantom gang, Vikas, Anurag, Vikramaditya and the production team hit the dance floor. The party got its groove when the DJ started playing the songs of ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’.
Karan and Ranbir, were dragged by other people on the dance floor. Everyone applauded and gave a huge roar to Karan Johar when he started dancing to ‘Badtameez Dil'. He was joined by Ranbir Kapoor and both of them performed the signature step of the song.
For Karan, spotted in a new haircut, it was an emotional moment as it was his father’s dream to have him act in movies. He plays a negative shade in the film and his look is yet to be revealed.
While Karan and Ranbir left by midnight, the party went on till wee hours of the morning.
