Ramakrishnan debuts as a director with 'Pongadi Neengalum Unga Kadhalum'

Chennai: 'Pongadi Neengalum Unga Kadhalum', is actor Ramakrishnan’s debut as a filmmaker.

The film comes after four years of efforts to get into filmmaking. Aathmiya from Mollywood and Karunya play the lead girls.

“It is about the trust women have in men and how it sometimes proves to be a disadvantage. How women fall prey to social media forms the crux,” Ramakrishnan tells DC.

Ramakrishnan, a protégé of ace directors K. Balachander and Cheran, wanted to make it big in direction. But fate had something else in store. When he approached producer SP Charan with an appealing script, the latter made him an actor in Kunguma Poovum Konju Puravum.

Though he was offered good movies to prove his acting skills, young Ramakrishnan was determined to wield the megaphone and did not sign any movie in the last few years.

His perseverance paid off and now his first venture is Pongadi…..which has a women centric theme is hitting the cinema halls soon.
