Suniel Shetty’s son Ahaan eyes Bollywood launch

Mumbai: Even as Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya is busy shooting for Nikhil Advani’s 'Hero', his son Ahaan, is also gearing up for his Bollywood debut.

“Athiya’s entry into Bollywood was almost incidental, but Ahaan’s is much more planned. He told his parents three years ago that he wanted to act and has showed how serious his intentions are, by preparing for it as well,” a source close to the Shetty family said.

Acting, fight and dancing lessons as well as coaching in diction form a part of Ahaan’s daily routine, and Suniel couldn’t be more proud. “I think he was five or six years old when he first said he wanted to become an actor,” Suniel recounts fondly.

“At an age when children are barely reading and writing, Ahaan used to enact scenes from the movies. Athiya took some time to make up her mind about acting but Ahaan has been raring to go since his childhood.”

Suniel added that he’d be doing everything possible to help Ahaan with his dream: “I guess I have earned ample goodwill and standing in the industry to give him that much at least.”
