Ayesha’s support not needed, says father-in-law Abu Azmi
Mumbai: Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi has broken his silence on daughter-in-law Ayesha Takia's outburst on Twitter after his controversial statement that women who "go with men", without consent, should be hanged.
Abu Azmi said, “The ladies from my family have got nothing to do with election promotional activities. We do not allow any of our ladies to go outside the house in wake of any such activities. Nor am I interested to take any support from Ayesha Takia. My son Farhan Azmi will be able to answer all your queries related to his wife. He knows better whether he wishes to allow his wife to work within or outside home premises.”
All does not seem to be well within the family ever since Ayesha condemned Abu Azmi’s provocative statement on ‘women having sex with or without their wish' should be given the death penalty.
if wot im reading about my father in laws statements r true then me and Farhan are deeply embarrassed n ashamed...

Abu Azmi also added, "Yeh saach hai koi bhi lady apni marzi se kisi ke saath jaye toh bhi islam mein mana hai… iske andar marzi na marzi ke darmiyan maut aur zindagi ka fasla hai. Agar khushi hai toh kuch nahi magar khushi se nahi hai toh fansi ki saza. Toh iss par sara vichar krna chahiye. Islam mein toh marzi se jane par bhi rok hai. Wishing to have sex for a woman has been strictly condemned by Allah!"
