Shocking Bollywood divorces that left us heartbroken
Last year, we saw a number of long standing Hollywood relationships crumble to ashes, and this new year is proving to be a sequel to it, with a number of Bollywood power couples calling it quits after spending over a decade together.- Late last year, Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma and actor husband Ranvir Shorey decided to mutually end their five year marriage. The couple who are parents to four year old son Haroon,made their announcement via their social networking handles. Although the two divorced each other, they continue to work together and maintain a friendly relationship for their son.
- Karisma Kapoor and her businessman husband Sanjay Kapur may have separated a few years ago, they formally filed for divorce this month. The two, who were working hard on their relationship, ended things on a sour note when Sanjay openly alleged that Karisma married him only for his money and as a rebound from her failed relationship with Abhishek Bachchan.
- The Farhan-Adhuna divorce may have come as a shock to many, but theirs was not the first celebrity relationship to crumble this year. Television's power couple Raghu Ram and actress Sugandha Garg uncoupled' early this month. The two mutually decided to go their separate ways after almost 10 years of togetherness. They would have celebrated they 10th anniversary in February this year.
- Farhan and Adhuna seemed inseparable when they attended the 'Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality' last year. Rumours of a split began doing the rounds when Adhuna was visibly absent at Farhan's 'Wazir' launch.
