Mumbai: Amritpal Singh Bindra, who is making a debut as a director with ‘ Babbu Ki Jawani’, is dating Ronnie Screwala’s daughter, Trishya Screwvala. Amritpal has been an assistant director in films like ‘No One Killed Jessica and ‘Barfi’, produced by UTV and has got lucky with a big break.
According to an insider, “ Amritpal and Trishya have been dating each other for over a year now. May be this relationship has made it easier for Amritpal to get this big opportunity. Of course, he has a good script in his hand that the studio has willing to back.”
Trishya, as her twitter account reads, is the founder of Raindancer, a not-for-profit that seeks to build social awareness among youngsters and create platforms for sustained volunteering.
Trishya’s parents, Ronnie and Zarine are in approval of this relationship. During the recent shoot of ‘Babbu Ki Jawani’ in Shimla, Zarine had also gone there.
UTV was contacted for Amritpal's version but they didn't respond.
