It is a well-known fact that Balakrishna is a vastu and astrology fanatic. He always makes it a point to check the muhurtam and consult experts about auspicious times before embarking on something new. Soon after the Election Commission released the election notifications, the first thing Balakrishna, the TD candidate from Hindupur, did was take some vastu experts to the Telugu Desam office for advice. “They recommended some minor changes in the party office and Balakrishna got them done ASAP,” says a source. All this was done without the media’s knowledge.
“Only a few party insiders knew about the changes,” says the source, adding that a few changes had been done to the north-east side of the office. And when the actor rented a house in Hindupur, his constituency, he followed the same procedure. “When he visited Hindupur, he took vastu experts and made a few changes according to their advice,” says the source. However, the joke is that Balakrishna continues to be a vastu fanatic, regardless of the results — if things don’t work out as expected, he changes the vastu consultant!
