Dear Prime Minister, ‘I am talking to you because I’m not mute anymore’
With a strong message to convey, a man speaks up for a nation of 1.2 billion, in this short film
Mumbai: It is a norm for leaders to speak while their countrymen listen. Promises made, opposition attacked. Ever wondered whether you wanted your voice to be heard? Yes, it’s time our leaders heard us.
After a powerful short documentary Mute, Ram Subramanian is back with his aptly named sequel Unmute. While in Mute, the protagonist didn’t have a voice as he didn’t exercise his voting rights, in the sequel he’s back - with the ‘collective voice of the country’.
The video conveys a strong message from people in different walks of life to the newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his leaders.
In his previous documentary, Mute, he goes voiceless because he did not vote.
