Vijay enthralls late Mukund Varadarajan’s little daughter Arshea

Chennai: Actor Vijay paid a visit to offer his respects to Late Major Mukund Varadarajan recently. He spent time with Mukund’s three-year-old daughter Arshea. It is learnt that Arshea is fond of Ilayathalapthy’s songs and whenever she listens to them, she starts dancing. And it was social activist Abdul Ghani who was instrumental in arranging the meeting between the star and Arshea.

Ghani on an earlier occasion had organised a tribute to Major Mukund who attained martyrdom fighting militants in Jammu and Kashmir.

“As I was dropping them back to their place, one of the FM channels aired Vijay’s song Pasanga from Thalaivaa. Immediately, there was smile on Arshea’s face and she began to dance in the car. Then I realised that she is fond of Vijay sir and conveyed the same to the actor. He immediately gave his nod to meet the family despite his busy shooting schedules,” Ghani tells DC.

The child was very thrilled seeing the Jilla star and addressed him as ‘Tamil Pasanga Uncle’. An equally elated Vijay spent quality time with them and paid his respect to Mukund before he left.
