Kochi: Jayasurya will be seen as lead in Om Shanthi Oshana fame Midhun Mannuel Thomas’ directorial debut Aadu. The out and out comedy road trip movie will explore the fun and danger that await a bunch of friends who hit the Kerala roads with a cute little female goat, Pinky.
The film produced under the banner, Friday Film House, will be a clean entertainer with music by Shaan Rahman and cinematography by Escape From Uganda fame Vishnu Sharma.
“Aadu, a film on self discovery and nuances of friendship, is baked in satire which indirectly questions the social and political issues and will simultaneously make you think twice about who is going to be riding in the passenger’s seat,” says Midhun, the scriptwriter-cum-director of Aadu.
The shooting of the film will begin this September and is expected to be a Christmas release.
