‘English Vinglish’ gets special mention on restaurant menu in Japan

The film dubbed in Japanese will release on June 28 in Tokyo
Mumbai: Bollywood hit ‘English Vinglish’ is all set for its big release in Japan on June 28. Bollywood actress Sridevi flew to Tokyo with her family on May 27 to attend the premiere.
In anticipation of the film’s release in Japanese, a small Tokyo-based restaurant has introduced a special meal on its menu called ‘Shahi’s special meals’, which will be available from June 28th onwards.
Sridevi plays the character Shashi in the movie is a talented chef and housewife with a desire to learn and speak English.
The film’s premiere in Japan will be attended by the wife of Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Popular Japanese singer Agnes Chan to name a few.
