Hyderabad: Students from Hyderabad grabbed seven out of the 20 top ranks in the Eamcet engineering and medical streams, the results of which were declared on Monday. Five of the top 10 rankers in engineering were from the city.
In all, about 1.88 lakh engineering aspirants and about 88,000 medical aspirants cracked the Eamcet. Students of Sri Chaitanya and Narayana groups swept all the Top 20 ranks in both the engineering and medical streams.
In medical stream, all the 10 toppers were trained by the Sri Chaitanya Narayana Educational Institutions; 93 of the top 100 ranks belonged to the institution.
In engineering stream, all of the top 10 ranks were bagged by students from Narayana Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, which also took 92 out of the 100 ranks.
