Sao Paulo: There is no final resolution on the group of death at the 2014 World Cup. For some, Pool B comprising Spain, the Netherlands, Chile and Australia is the toughest while Group D consisting of Italy, England, Uruguay and Costa Rica appear more difficult for many.
Group G headlined by Germany isn’t easy either as Portugal, Ghana and the USA will not roll over at the sight of the three-time champions.
Group matches could be more open than cagey knockout affairs in the World Cup. After all, Spain didn’t score more than one goal from the last 16 stage en route to their maiden title in 2010. Here is a list of cracking pool matches.
