NDMC urges mha to consider Kejriwal’s house request
Arvind Kejriwal’s search for home in the national capital could end soon
NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal’s search for home in the national capital could end soon as he might benefit from the latest proposal by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The NDMC sent a fresh proposal to the Union home ministry last week, saying that all the elected MLAs and MPs should be allotted a residence in New Delhi.
Mr Kejirwal will also be allotted a house in case the proposal is accepted by the Centre.
“This proposal was sent on June 20 to the Union home ministry that all the elected members should get a home in Delhi. The resolution was unanimously passed in the NDMC meeting. This will be a relief for the MLAs elected to the Delhi Assembly,” said a senior NDMC official.
