Andhra Pradesh IPS officer bags best Vigilance Officer award

Venkateshwar Rao, an IPS officer of AP origin got this prestigious award

Hyderabad: Venkateshwar Rao, an IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh origin, who is now working as the chief vigilance officer of coal-fields was given the best vigilance officer award by the the Central Vigilance Commission.

A programme has been organised at the power grid corporation auditorium, Kavadiguda, by the vigilance study circle founded by Padamshree Dr Subramanian IPS. Pradeep Kumar chief vigilance commissioner, and other vigilance commissioners will be attending the event.

Awards are given to the best CVOs of 300 PSUs in the country for preventing and detecting frauds in the organisation.
