Mumbai Police officer accused of rape: 'Model’s rape charge a stunt'
Mumbai: More evidence, in form of CCTV footage and telephonic conversation has surfaced pointing towards a publicity-garnering motive on part of the model who accused DIG Sunil Paraskar of rape.
The CCTV footage from her former lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee’s office and their telephonic conversations records the model desperately seeking advice for ways to get Mr Paraskar “bad publicity.”
The footage also reveals that she tried to impress upon her lawyer that that their flirtatious SMS exchanges — where she too reciprocated accordingly — could be construed as sexual harassment.
In his witness statement, recorded before the crime branch on Monday, advocate Siddiquee accused the model of wanting “mileage” to secure her entry into Big Boss.
In the transcript of the CCTV footage, the model asks in Hindi, “Can you think of someone we can frame like in a movie,” when Mr. Siddiquee tells her to go to the State Human Rights Commission. “I want to get him bad publicity so that his image is destroyed,” she said.
Mr. Siddiquee had dropped her case after she suddenly claimed that Mr Paraskar had sexually assaulted her while she had originally sought his services to legally act against him for essentially “misusing” his official position – a charge she was initially firm on.
