KCR, Chandrababu Naidu feel free at Governors ‘At Home’ party

The two CMs laughed heartily, spoke to each other
Hyderabad: All eyes were on Chief Ministers K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu, when both came to attend “At Home” hosted by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Friday evening.
This was the second time in two months that they faced each other and exchanged pleasantries on a single platform after assuming office of Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states respectively. Earlier, the two CMs had met at Begumpet airport recently, during the visit of President Pranab Mukherjee.
Mr Narasimhan led them out of Raj Bhavan building, into the lawn, where “At Home” was hosted. With Mr Naidu on his right and Mr Rao on his left, the Governor along with his wife Ms Vimala Narasimhan met dignitaries.
Later, both CMs were accommodated in chairs on either side of the one allotted to the Governor. Both Mr Rao and Mr Naidu spoke to each other and also with the Governor.
When the Governor left his chair to meet other dignitaries, the two CMs laughed heartily and spoke to each other. Though it was not known, what they spoke about, but most dignitaries and guests at “At Home” said such a pleasant conversation between the two would augur well for people of both the states.
And such meetings between the two should happen regularly to ease tensions on various issues.
Even the skies opened up and it poured heavily bringing down the temperature.
However, it was the two CMs nearly one-hour long closeted meeting with the Governor in his sitting room, was what aroused curiosity among officials and guests. It is for this, it is learnt, that Mr Naidu came back to the city from Kurnool after Independence Day celebrations.

Chakrapani, and Madhusudhana Chary and K Sivaprasada Rao respectively, Deputy Chief Minister of TS Mr Mahmood Ali, TS Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy, TS and AP Chief Secretaries Rajiv Sharma and I.Y.R.
