How? The website gives you an insight to the celebrations taking place in and around Mumbai. “Since childhood its been our dream to go and watch Ganesh Chaturthi mandals around the city but sadly due to the crowd or the distance from our home, we were not able to see all of them. This prompted us to create a website for the people where they can find anything and everything about this festival and they enjoy all the mandals” says Pratik.
While Pratik takes care of the technical aspect of the website his friend Khushal looks after marketing. Khushal developed this website a year back but couldn’t muster enough support then, to take it live. Now that they have few local clients and ads as their ground foundation, they have planned to make it bigger and better.
Though the website will remain active for all the pictures and videos of Mandals, Celebs celebrations and your own uploads, they plan to take it to another level after this festival ends.
Liveganesh will start an e-commerce venture of Lord Ganesh related products in sometime. “To not make it a seasonal website, we are planning to sell idols of Ganesh and Ganesh related products on our website. We are still in talks with some local vendors regarding the same.”
The site has got thousands of viewers in over a month and has attracted a lot of attention. “Connecting people physically and socially is our main motive behind this. Easy access to all the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations across town for all the people on just one portal” he added.
