Salim Khan confirms daughter Arpita’s wedding in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Salim Khan has confirmed that his youngest daughter Arpita, will marry fiancé Aayush Sharma in January next year at Hyderabad’s Falaknuma Palace, “The date is yet to be fixed,” says the writer.
When asked about the celebrations Salim adds, “We are planning a very cool marriage. Falaknuma was the choice of the bride and the groom. I have not visited Hyderabad in the recent past, but it’s a wonderful venue so all of us agreed to it.”
When asked whether there was a Salim Khan script in the offing, the writer says, “I had thought that when my children would grow up, I would spend my time travelling and doing what I liked. But I was totally wrong, there’s no end to my duties. Being Salman Khan’s father, everything comes back to me. I have to look after all his court cases, the driving case and the Blackbuck case. I need to concentrate on these issues,” he says.
He adds, “Whereas writing needs total isolation. Also, it takes at least three to six months of being away from one’s family to write a script.
“I am keen on writing and making a comeback as I know the audiences are looking forward to good scripts. We have great young actors who can give their best provided they get the right script. As soon as I finish my personal assignments, I will pick up the pen,” he adds.
