Karan Johar ropes in ‘student’ Sana Saeed for his next project

Mumbai: Our informants in B-town tell us that Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar’s long delayed project Badtameez Dil is slowly getting back on track. The film was announced last year, and it was said that Kareena Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi would star in the project. We’ve now been told that Karan’s discovery Sana Saeed, who starred as a child artiste in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and more recently in Student of the Year, has been signed on for a plum role in Badtameez Dil. “There was a requirement for an actress who is young, glamorous and seductive and the team felt Sana fit the bill. If things worked out as planned, the project should go on the floors in a month’s time,” a source connected to the project said.
