Delhi rape victim’s nurse alleges rape

New Delhi: A 33-year-old nurse, working in New Delhi, was allegedly gang-raped and kept in illegal confinement by four persons at a village in Mansa district in Punjab, police said on Tuesday.
Four persons have been booked in this connection, police said, adding, two out of the four accused have been arrested while two others were still at large. A nurse, 33, was allegedly kept in confinement by the four persons.
Sources said that the victim happens to be one of the nurses involved in the treatment of the victim of Delhi gangrape of December 16 at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi.
The woman, however, refused to undergo medical examination and did not make any statement before the judicial magistrate which is mandatory in rape cases, police said, adding, she has also locked her mobile phone and is not willing to tell her address. She was gangraped by four persons, and was near Budhlada railway station next day, her complaint said.
