Three Hyderabad schools among top 10: survey
Chennai: Three schools from Chennai (two from Adyar and one from Gopalapuram) have been ranked in the list of top 10 best day schools in India according to a survey conducted by Education World India. The School of Krishnamurthy Foundation India and Sishya School from the same locality that has a curriculum beyond classroom learning and lets children explore their interests through various activities, top the list of day co-education schools in Chennai. DAV Boys senior secondary school that follows CBSE curriculum ranks No. 5 in the boys day school category.
Totally, nine schools fromTamil Nadu, under 10 different categories like day schools, boarding schools and international schools, have topped India’s best school ranking list. Two schools from Ooty and Coimbatore each have marked their places under boarding and international residential schools. Kodaikanal International School (KIS) retains its No. 1 position from last year in the international residential school category, with its experiential learning standards. Educational World India School gives the ranking of Indian schools every year with public feedback. This assessment bridges the gap between public perception and reality and helps parents identify the right school for their children, said Hemalatha Raghupathi, correspondent, Education World India, here on Sunday.
