Honey Singh’s suffers head injury, 'India’s Raw Star' will see a new mentor

Mumbai: Honey Singh has met with an accident in America and injured his head so badly that for now, he will not be able to shoot for India’s Raw Star. Following the doctors' advise, he is taking it slow to ensure that he recovers completely before resuming his professional commitment.

According to reports, earlier this week, Yo Yo Honey Singh had to opt out of SLAM tour in between after he slipped and suffered a serious injury. The singer performed at three concerts but was not part of the forthcoming concerts.

The makers of India’s Raw Star are in full support of Honey Singh and are concerned about his well being first. “ The makers don’t want to put any pressure on him to resume the show,” a source revealed.

The music reality show, where Honey Singh is the judge, has gained immensely popularity in a short span of time. “Yo Yo will not be on the show for few weeks. However, he will be nominating every week a celebrity to come on the show to be a mentor and their super fan.”

This week, music duo Salim-Sulaiman will mentor the show and Abhishek Bachchan has agreed to come on the show and be his superfan. " They agreed to come as they are good friends of the singer," said a source.

A friend of Honey Singh said, “ Doctors had advised him against going to the SLAM tour because of his health condition. However, he was adamant to go as Shah Rukh had personally requested him to join the tour. He got over exerted there and now because of the accident, he will take a lot of time to completely recover.”
