Bendgate: Samsung pokes Apple's eye again
The Bendgate issue of Apple’s flagship iPhone 6 is continuously hitting the news in the tech world. It made the quality check of Apple iPhone 6 handsets quite questionable. Customers started posting complaints about iPhone 6 on Twitter, using the hashtag #BendGate.
Soon after the news of Bendgate became a new trend all over the web, Apple defended itself. The company stated ‘Our iPhones are designed, engineered and manufactured to be both beautiful and sturdy.’ It also claimed that iPhone 6 models have been built using stainless steel and titanium inserts to reinforce high-stress locations and use the strongest glass in the smartphone industry.
But companies like BlackBerry and Samsung have grabbed the opportunity to embarass Apple on the Bendgate issue. During the launch of the new BlackBerry Passport, the company laughingly stated,'And the most important thing — our Passport doesn’t bend’.
On the other hand, Samsung has now poked Apple's eye by releasing ‘The Three-Point Bend test’ video. In this video, Samsung claims that Galaxy Note 4 is much stronger than the high-end iPhone 6.
