Mumbai: A British man has been jailed for killing a friend who apparently poked his girlfriend on Facebook.
Scott Humphrey has been jailed for four years after he repeatedly punched his friend Richard Rovetto, according to The Mirror. Humphrey, 27, pounded on Rovetto asking the reason for poking his girlfriend on the social networking website. He then punched Rovetto, the father of one, to the floor who banged his head on the pavement.
Rovetto, 29, died a few hours later to the incident. Humphrey admitted a charge of manslaughter and his legal team said he was "genuinely remorseful".
Rovetto's family mentioned after the verdict that the sentence wasn't the justice they wanted.
