AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to renovate ‘congested’ residence
Naidu would probably shift into the Lake View Guest House around December
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is likely to shift his residence, temporarily, to the Lake View Guest House. After renovating his office at the Secretariat, Mr Naidu now wants to renovate his own Jubilee Hills residence.
The Chief Minister told officials after moving into his new office on Friday that his residence had only two bedrooms and one guest room, but no proper hall to receive guests and meet officials. A source close to the Chief Minister said that Mr Naidu was in two minds, whether to demolish the current residence and construct a new building or expand the existing one with more rooms and meeting halls.
The source added that Mr Naidu would probably shift into the Lake View Guest House around December.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s family thought it would be better to shift into a government house rather than a private building. It would also be suitable from a security point of view and he can conduct official meetings from here too.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam sources said that Mr Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh and his wife Brahmini visited the guest house on Sunday and inspected all the rooms. They were apparently satisfied with the facilities and were of the opinion that there would be no need to modify any rooms as of now.
