Mumbai: The launch of Ekta Kapoor’s new TV show Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai took a somewhat unexpected turn, when the czarina of Balaji Telefilms threatened to walk out of the event after being asked an “uncomfortable” question.
The incident occurred when Ekta, who was present with the cast of her show in Mumbai, was asked about her belief in astrology and numerology. But Ekta refused to answer the questions, calling them “personal”. Then she was asked about Balaji’s Bollywood projects, including the cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s new book Half Girlfriend.
Ekta refused to answer this question as well. She finally walked out from the venue when she was faced with a barrage of questions about her one-time protegee Shweta Basu Prasad, who was seen in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Ekta’s abrupt exit did not go down well with the attendees.
