Honorary Indian Air Force Group Captain Sachin Tendulkar waves from his car as he leaves after an Air Force Day parade at the air force station.
Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar, who were the guests of honour, seemed very pleased with the performances.
Pilots reportedly performed some daring stunts like dolphin, cross over, double mid-air crisscross that enthralling the audience.
The flypast reportedly comprised of aircrafts like the MIG-21, MIG-29, Sukhoi-30 MKI, Globemaster, Hercules and Mirage 2000 which were put on display.
Sachin, who retired from cricket in November last year, was conferred an rank of Group Captain in 2010 to honour his extraordinary achievements in cricket.
"On Air Force Day, I salute our air force personnel. They are our pride and their bravery, commitment and dedication continues to inspire," the Prime Minister said.
The occasion was marked with a display of various aircrafts and air shows that were open to the public for viewing.
The guardians of the sky, celebrated their 82nd anniversary on Wednesday at the Hindon air base in New Delhi and the event was graced by India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar was present in uniform and was accompanied by wife Anjali at the ceremony
