Mumbai: He may have been born and brought up in Mumbai but Delhi holds a special place in Ranveer Singh’s heart. Because that’s where he had shot for his debut film Band Baaja Baraat. The actor returned to the city yet again for work, this time filming for Kill Dil, when he decided to relive some of his BBB memories by revisiting the shooting sites.
Our source says, “Ranveer had shot extensively for Band Baaja Baraat in Delhi and for Kill Dil he went back to the city. This is the second time in his career that Ranveer has essayed the role of a Delhi local.
While shooting for this film, he was feeling nostalgic. So he indulged in a trip down memory lane and visited the Delhi University campus, Janakpuri and Noida where BBB was shot. He made it a point to put on a different getup to protect himself from getting mobbed by fans.”
