It seems like online shopping websites are raining ‘discounts’ for customers. Amazon is trying its level best to defeat Flipkart by allegedly buying out the ‘bigbillionday.com’ domain and setting out a discount week named ‘Diwali Dhamaka’ from October 10 to October 16, 2014.

Micromax Canvas A1 with Android One
Amazon is offering a 13% discount on Micromax Canvas A1 and has priced it at Rs 6,498 with additional freebies such as an 8GB microSD card, Rs 750 gift card, screen guard, free coupons worth Rs 2,000 and unlimited app downloads for Airtel users.
The 4.5-inch Micromax Canvas A1 handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android v.4.4.4 KitKat operating system and has an onboard storage capacity of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Canvas A1 sports a 5MP rear/2MP front-facing camera. The company claims that the Android One smartphone is fuelled with 1700mAH battery, that offers 6 hours on talktime mode and standby time of 160 hours.
Lenovo S5000 Tablet
Lenovo’s 7-inch HD capacitive display with 1280 x 800 pixels, is packed with 1.2GHz MediaTek quad core processor, having 1GB of RAM. The tablet runs on Android v4.2 operating system. However, you can upgrade it up to Android v4.4, comes with an in-built 16GB memory and sports a 5MP rear shooter/1.6MP camera. The market price of this table is Rs 8,990. However Amazon has priced it at Rs 6,949, which means it is offering around 42% discount.
HP All-In-One 20-2110 in 19.45-inch desktop PC
The online shopping website has slashed Rs 11,501 and attached a price tag of Rs 23,990 today. Specifications of the PC include a 2.41GHz Intel Pentium processor with 2GB DDR3 of RAM, 500GB of storage, a 19.45-inch monitor and Windows 8.1, 64-Bit operating system.

Google Nexus 5 D821 has been displayed for sale on Day 1 of Amazon’s Diwali Dhamaka. It sports a 4.95-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel IPS touchscreen display, powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
