Hyderabad: The Supreme Court on Monday said the Telangana government was prejudiced in allowing some engineering colleges to participate in Eamcet counselling and disallowing others.
The SC said the government had failed to provide equal opportunity to all engineering colleges.
The court directed the Telangana government and JNTU Hyderabad to submit affidavits by Friday, detailing the context and reasons for not granting affiliation to 174 engineering colleges and the facilities that other colleges had shown which had made them eligible for admitting students.
