Mumbai: She was last seen in the Kangna Ranaut-starrer Queen and now Lisa Haydon is looking forward to her next release, The Shaukeens. This time she has Akshay Kumar as her co-star and she couldn’t be happier. Lisa says, “Akshay didn’t behave like a senior, we were just hanging out having fun in between shots. In the film, I play an Akshay fan and now I think I’m one off-screen too.”
Language too wasn’t a problem for Lisa this time. “It’s a fun film, nothing complicated. In fact I was just dubbing the other day and I got really excited seeing the rushes. I hope all the excitement comes through,” she says adding, “In The Shaukeens, my character Ahana just wants to have fun. She is a romantic.”
Speaking of how she picks films, the actress says, “I need to get good vibes from the film. Also, I do films I would enjoy watching. But then I also take the production house and names involved into consideration. Because sometimes you have a good project but nobody watches it.”
