ISRO chief’s thanks giving visit to Tirumala
Tirupati: On a thanks giving visit to Tirumala Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman Dr K. Radhakrishnan offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Thursday.
After Isro’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C26) launched the Indian regional navigational satellite system (IRNSS) successfully from the Satish Dhawan Space Research Centre at Sriharikota in the early hours on Thursday, the Isro chairman as per his customary practice after each launch reached the Tirumala hill shrine in the morning.
On his arrival in front of the Tirumala temple, the TTD officials and priests welcomed Dr Radhakrishnan and led him into the temple where he worshipped Lord Venkateswara.
Later at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, priests rendered Vedaseervachanam to the Isro chairman while the temple officials offered Lord’s prasadams.
