President Pranab Mukherjee meets Santa Claus in the Arctic Circle
Someone's been really good this year it seems. The President of India Pranab Mukherjee, who was on a foreign tour this past week returned home this morning, but not before meeting Santa Clause himself in the Arctic Circle.- President Pranab Mukherjee was accompanied by his daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee to Santa's workshop and followed by a lot of elf impersonators.
- Christmas came early for our President, who received a small gift wrapped in white and golden paper from Father Christmas himself.
- The President also became the first Indian President to visit Santa Claus's official workplace and meet him in person.
- Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland near the Arctic Circle, with a snow cover normally from October to April. The region claims to be Santa's home.
