Apple at its event on October 16th, launched the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3. The new iPad Air is much lighter and thinner than the older one, with a thickness of just 6.1mmm, making it Apple’s thinnest iPad ever. The new iPad features an improved Retina display for better contrast and richer colors, and better cameras. Available in gold, silver, and space gray, iPad Air 2 and the new iPad mini 3 offer Touch ID and — in the US — Apple Pay.
The new iPads sport some modest updates, and have created quite an excitement. However, since the new iPads will soon be available for sale in the market, retailers are trying to clear the inventories for the older iPads, and have therefore slashed their prices.
We spotted an iPad Mini 16GB available on various online retail website for prices up to/lower than Rs 16,500. The prices of iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 have also been drastically reduced.
