Mumbai: An excited bride to be, Dia Mirza to be had recently informed the media about co-star Boman Irani performing her kanyadaan and all the other fatherly duties at her wedding. Dia had said, “Boman will be performing all the duties and rituals of the father during my wedding ceremony. It was a promise that he had made to me when we did Lage Raho Munnabhai together.”
So it was surprising when Boman didn’t attend the wedding at all, that took place on October 18 in Delhi. With all sorts of rumours doing the rounds, his manager clarified that it was work commitments that kept him away. When we contacted the actor’s manager to clear the air about his absence she said, “He could not be there as he was busy with a promotional video shot for Happy New Year.”
