Samsung's next flagship handset may feature a 'Dual-Edge' 4K display

The high-end smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset

After the successful launch of Samsung S5 and Alpha, the company is currently working on manufacturing its next 5.3-incher flagship handset - Galaxy S6, which will launch in 2015. Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport a metallic body and its 4K display will feature a Super AMOLED screen, carrying a resolution of 2160x3840 pixels.

Media reports also state that Samsung plans to surprise its customers by adding a Dual-Edge display on the Galaxy S6. According to a report on Hallels, the Galaxy S6 will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S6 will run Android v5.0 Lollipop operating system, may likely sport a 20MP rear camera and enable 4K video recording, with custom shooting modes.

However, SAM MOBILE stated that Samsung is still deciding between a 16MP and 20MP camera, as the company is in the early stage of development. Media reports also state that the S6 smartphone will be available in three different variants - 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Rumours also state that the smartphone will be fuelled with a non-removable battery and will be priced as high as the iPhone 6.
