Wellington: A Chinese man shelled out a whopping 105,000 dollars on 99 iPhone 6's in order to pop the question to his girlfriend; however, the girl turned the extravagant proposal down.

The young man in Guangzhou had arranged the iPhones in shape of a heart, and stood in the midst with the girl as he asked her hand in marriage, right before Singles' Day, Stuff.co.nz reported.

But since the demand for the gadget in China is high, the heartbroken man might just be able to sell them off and recover his money.
