Salman Khan breaks the news of Ravi Chopra's demise on Bigg Boss, Puneet weeps like a child
Mumbai: Salman Khan is currently shooting for the weekend episode of 'Bigg Boss' in Lonavala. The contestants, who are locked up in the house for over three months have no idea about the outside world unless the host decides to tell them enlighten them. On November 12, renowned filmmaker Ravi Chopra breathed his last in a city hospital. The entire film fraternity went to offer condolences to the family who has contributed a lot to Indian cinema.
Few hours ago, Salman Khan while communicating with the contestants through his LED broke the news to them. He told them about Ravi Chopra and broke the news to them about his sad demise. Salman Khan has acted in 'Baghban', a commercial hit, directed by Ravi Chopra. On the show he said that the filmmaker was a great person and it was very unfortunate that he was having health issues for the past couple of years.
In no time, Puneet Issar started weeping and was uncontrolable. For those who don't know, Puneet played the famous role of Duryodhana in the TV adaptation of Mahabharata. Everyone tried to pacify him but he was extremley upset to hear about the loss of his dear friend.
After a while, Salman told Puneet to tell everyone what Ravi Chopra meant to him. Puneet revealed that Ravi's decision to cast him as Duryodhana did a lot of wonders to his fading acting career. He recounted that Ravi gave him a second chance in acting that did wonders to his career.
This particular incident will be aired in tonight's episode of Bigg Boss. Salman Khan recently also mourned the death of his favourite choreographer Jay Borade.
