Mumbai: It’s not just her relationship with cricketer Virat Kohli that’s making headlines these days. Anushka Sharma’s work has become a talking point as well. The actress who has turned producer with her film NH10 is focusing on playing the dual roles to the best of her abilities.
The photo-shoot for the poster of NH10 that stars Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam in lead roles, is underway. The film’s director Navdeep Singh is busy cutting the first, fresh trailer of Anushka’s maiden film as a producer.
Word is that Anushka has proposed the idea to Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his team, of releasing the trailer of NH10 with her soon-to-be-released film PK. We hear that she had a meeting with PK ‘s leading man Aamir Khan and filmmaker Raju Hirani to get permission for the same.
“Aamir was the first to lend his support. At her age, Anushka’s dedication towards establishing herself as a producer is commendable. And Aamir has always encouraged young talent,” says a source close to Khan.
On the personal front, Anushka is miffed with rumours insinuating that she is formally getting engaged to Virat. “I think by coming out in the open about their relationship, they have clarified the status of the same. They are both busy with their respective careers. It’s unfair to make such sweeping statements,” say close sources.
